PADI Advanced Open Water Diver in Hurghada
In our diving school we offer the Advanced Open Water Diver course in Hurghada. Firstly it will help you increase your confidence. In other words, it will build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water.
This is therefore a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the guidance of your PADI instructor.
Overall the course builds on what you’ve learned in the previous Open Water course. So it will introduce you to new activities and new ways to have fun diving.
As a result you’ll improve your skills and complete five adventure dives that introduce you to: Boat dive, Drift dive, Wreck dive, Navigate underwater and Deeper water dive. (anywhere from 18-30 meters/ 60-100 feet.)

Our 2 day Advanced Open Water Schedule:
- Day 1 – Your transfer will pick you up from within Hurghada and the boat will leave at 09:00. Firstly, once you are on the boat you will fill in a referral form. In addition your instructor will give you the manual and briefings for each of the dives you will complete. After, you will complete 2 dives. Usually this is 1 Boat dive and 1 Navigation dive.
- Day 2 – First, you will complete reading the manual. After that, your instructor will prepare you for the next 3 dives. Finally you will complete 3 dives, these are usually Deep dive, Wreck dive and Drift dive.
In Addition, transfer from within Hurghada to and from the boat is included. Moreover, lunch and soft drinks are also provided on the boat. However you must bring a towel with you. Please also note that the order of the dives can vary depending on the instructors professional opinion.
To Qualify for this course
You must be:
- A PADI Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certificate from another training organization)
- 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

Lunch and hot and cold beverages are included on the boat. Vegetarian/Vegan options are also available (please notify staff in advance.) Please inform staff before your arrival if you have any allergies we should be aware of.
